New project, new possibillities

Hello again!
My son, which plays the bass guitar, asked me if I could build him an amp. Well, off course I can!
So, after a little thinking, I am going for a kind-of Ampeg SB12 inspired thing.
Some differences:
- I will use a solid state rectifier
- I will rectify the filament supply (why don`t every home builder do this? Saves a lot of hazzle)
- I will use 6L6 tubes (as the late versions of SB-12).

Now to my first question here. Attached is my thoughts around the schematics for the PS. So, to save some time, does this look ok? Any input on this?
BTW, on the schematics you see two transformers. This is drawn like that because I didnt find the correct symbol in KiCad. It is in real life just one transformer

Hmm. I’ve never heard of rectifying the 6.3VAC winding. So that would prevent you from stringing AC all over the chassis? And the filaments are fine with DC? Interesting.

Yes indeed. I always do this.
No/much less noise, and much less trouble.
I always wind the cables anyway, but i really dont know if thats necessary..
