9 Watt   "mini"  D_mble ?
« on: June 18, 2008, 12:32:57 pm »
Da Geezer's Little Wing amp that I built has gotten more positive comments from guitarists that have tried it than any amp (of 14) that I have built.  It is phenomenally touch responsive. Very cool amp.

Well, I thought it might be cool to take a Dumble type preamp and marry it to the Little Wing PI and 6BM8 power tubes.

I'd love to build this!! Maybe someone who likes to color outside the lines would be interested in giving this a try?  I would not expect it to sound like a Dumble but it might have some of the smooth sustain and overdrive and touch responsiveness of a Dumble?

The idea is just a concept.  Check for errors.

With respect, Tubenit
