Parts Source for Building Stomp Boxes
« on: October 16, 2009, 09:46:47 pm »
Trying to build a simple A/B switchbox. Already have the schematic.

Anyone know where I can find things like the classic MXR-style Bud box enclosure, TRS jacks, DC power connector, LED's, etc. in one place?

I can find lots 'o places online to get a component here and a part there, but seems ridiculous to order all these little parts at differnt places and pay shipping on each one.

Here are a couple of places to start.  Not sure that they have everything you mentioned though.

http://www.pedalpartsplus.com/

http://www.smallbearelec.com/home.html

I have had excellent success with MANY kits/projects from these folks.

And..have heard good things about the kits from these folks.

Buying full up kits makes it a lot easier/less frustrating for only a nominal increase in cost.

Excellent forum here.  Very civilized, professional and polite...much like our clan here.

Have fun!

http://www.effectsconnection.com/oscommerce/ is a good vendor also, to go with small bear and pedalpartsplus.
