 Ot placement Q

 Ive heard the using headphones to place the ot in relation to the pt w/ the 1arys live, but wouldnt just not flipping the standby do the same thing but thru the cab speaker?

 You would have to have the power and standby on. If the power tubes aren't working there is no field in the OT. I would think the headphone thing wouldn't be necessary... unless headphones reveal frequencies that make it easier to hear the difference between positions. I've never tried anything like that so maybe someone who has can chime in.
