CraZy Ghost Distortion w particular Amp/speaker combo????

I just got a 15" speaker off of Amscray.  It was pulled out of a Conn organ but looked cool...alnico low wattage.  Here is what s happening. 

I play the speaker with my Vox or Fender....Everything is OK

I play the Epi Jr.  With other speakers...Everything is OK

I play the Epi Jr. with this 15" speaker and I get Ghost buzzing all over..(I hit a note and get lighter distortion afterwards)

Maybe, I should just shoot myself.

My guess:  the epi has an oscillation that:

(a)  only this speaker can reproduce

(b)  the dynamic impedance of this speaker brings out

Does the position of the speaker change the distortion at all?  What if you moved the speaker further away?  Just for a lark, put a 300R resistor in parallel with the speaker.

Maybe, I should just shoot myself.

Cheaper than building amps, easier than finding "that" tone.
