Vibrolux Grid Resistors?

I have noticed that the original Vibrolux and the Reissue Vibrolux Custom both do not use power tube grid resistors

This in my opinion is a part of the Vibrolux tone

Are not the 1.5K grid resistors on Fender amps there to prevent or stabilize high frequency osscillations?

Proper grid stoppers have no effect on tone. They add a margin of stability and can curb some EMF-related problems.

Fender didn't use them for cost reasons, and also because the ether wasn't a polluted mess as it is today with all those wireless gizmos.
