Anyone increase the Vibrato intensity on the Tore-T ReVibe?
« on: April 07, 2011, 12:41:17 pm »
I just broke out my ReVibe again to play with it.
It sounds great but with the intensity all the way up, I want more.

Anyone already got a mod that works?
I don't want to get inside and mess up all my pretty solder joints doing experiments.

I figured someone else has already been there and done it.

Here's the schematic in the library if anyone wats to reference the parts by number.

First thing I'd try is R37, 4.7M... Just gator clip a 1M across that and see if the intensity comes up enough. If it does, just increase/decrease to taste.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Thanks Steve,
I have a go at and see how that works.

After the 5M resistor I would fuss with the C26 .005 cap. Put a cap decade box in // and see what happens.

Thanks guys,
I'll mess with the Re-Vibe later
I'm doing some recording with it right now.

Seems to be alot of interest in it lately.

I am probably crazy, not sure the ReVibe needs any more intensity.
If you set it much deeper it eats away at your notes and they decay real fast.

I just finished this test recording using my ReVibe
The ReVibe is such a cool tool.

Sounds nice. I don't think you need any more intensity for that tune. With a lot of surfy type music, I like just a shimmer to accentuate the guitar tone.

The reason I started think I needed more intensity was that the revibe was set on 10.
10 should be a place no man needs to go (well maybe once in a while).

Oh I see. And (of course) you tried changing the trem tubes already?

Na, have not messed with it yet

Was busy doing the recording mentioned above.

Came out real nice.
