This being the venue that it is, I guess I gotta talk about the amp.  Both the oud player and I are playing 70s Vibrochamps.  Mine is more or less stock, but snubbing capacitor has been removed and B+ lowered to values shown in Fender schematic via a zener diode.  Guitar is a G&L F100 series II, hardtail, passive electronics, circa 1981.
