Hey guys.  Just wanting to find out is someone has an editable .sch or visio.  I was checking my copy of a Fargen ole 800 and found it to be the same as a JCM 800, but with some changes in resistor values.  Caps are the same as far as I can tell.  A while back there was some interest in others having this and right now I have it apart installing a loop, so it would be a good time to get it on paper so to speak.

There are several in the ExpressSCH library of schematics that you can look at and easily edit to what you want to have both a schematic and layout:

Hoffman Plexi50w

5F6-A Bassman

Plexi 25w reverb

With respect, Tubenit

I have a Visio schematic and layout for a dual Marshal 50. It includes Marshall JMP Series 1987 and JCM-800 2204 preamps into a standard Marshall 50W power amp. You could easily take out the Plexi stuff.

Take a look at this...   http://home.comcast.net/~seluckey/amps/misc/Marshall_Dual_50.pdf

If you like I can make the Visio file available.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Hell yes, I love it.  It will take some reworking for the simple JCM 800, but I like the whole thing.  Have you built this?  I would love the visio file.

Here it is... http://home.comcast.net/~seluckey/MD50.zip

I haven't built this. Plexi50 and maybe some others have. Maybe they can give you a "sound" opinion.

Please notice. This is not a stock Marshall schematic or layout. The plexi channel is equivalent to a real plexi with channels jumpered. The 2204 is hard wired for high gain. If you want to separate hi and lo inputs, you'll have to figure it out.

Get it soon. I can't leave it up long.

Steve,

Could you please post the file again? I'd like to get the Visio layout file for the Plexi.

TIA,
Jaz
