Fishman Loudbox part
« on: July 20, 2014, 05:08:19 pm »
I am looking for some help identifying and finding a replacement F/X Level pot for a Fishman Loudbox 100. I tried Fishman directly and they do not stock the part anymore and were not able to direct me to a source. I attached a photo. It's the yellow one that is circled. Does it look familiar to anyone? There are no numbers or manufacturer info. Thanks, Anthony

I'm afraid I can't provide a specific link, but you should be able to find an appropriate pot on either Mouser or Digi-key.  Kind of a PITA to sort through them all, but it should be there.  If I remember the inside of my Loudbox, they are all 9mm right angle pots (check the foot print against the data sheet, of course, because I may well be remembering wrong and it should be an 11mm or 12mm), with a D (also called flatted) shaft, so then it is just a matter of finding the right value.  Start your search under "Passive Components," then, "Potentiometers, trimmers & Rheostats," then "Potentiometers."  That will get you to the appropriate parametric search, and it is a pretty common style of pot.

Gabriel - thanks so much for the advice! As it turns out Fishman located one of these pots sent it to me this week and I installed it today. I will keep your post for future reference. Thanks again! Anthony
