Warehouse speakers?

Have any of you personally installed/tested this Warehouse brand of speaker? Specifically the Veteran model. I was looking for a speaker for my new Princeton Reverb cabinet I'm building when this thing came up on my radar. I've listened to shootouts between this and some respected name brands and I felt like it more than held its own. They're reasonably priced, so I think I'm going to take a chance on it.

I have used the veteran 30 it is very similar to a Vintage 30 except a bit more scooped IMO.
This speaker sounds great when paired with there ET65 had them in a 212 cab for a few years.

Good to hear that, I like the sound of a Vintage 30. I'm going to give it a try in a single 12" combo I'm building with Princeton Reverb specs. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

I am talking with regards only to a combo Trinity 15 that I built. WGS always mentions that they sound great together, but I haven't gone there yet as I really like the sounds coming from the Veteran 30. In the end, up to you of course.

Wow I'm glad you posted this. One of the amps I would be using this for would be a Trinity TC15 I built! I think I will go ahead and get the Veteran.

Thought I'd follow up now that the Princeton is complete. I LOVE the Veteran 30! I have read that a lot of folks feel like the Bass response in a stock Princeton is a little "mushy". I was concerned since I can't tolerate that in an amp. No worries, the Veteran has a tight bass response that's perfectly suited for the Duane Eddy tunes I love to play! When the amp is pushed into overdrive, the crunch is smooth and responsive to pick attack.
Anyhow, if you're considering this speaker, don't hesitate to try it, WGS is the real deal at a real deal.

Glad you liked the WGS Veteran 30. I am a fan of WGS speakers. I have a Retro 30 (75W twist on the Veteran 30) in a 1x12 sealed Blackheart cabinet and a quad of Reaper 30s (WGS take on my favorite speaker - the Celestion G12H30) in a 4x12 and I love both cabs. The vast majority of user feedback from all of the WGS offerings has been really positive.

One note on the flubby bass in the Princeton. I have a PRRI and I am also not a fan of flubby bass.  I did the Stokes mod and added another 22uf capacitor across the first filter cap node. It tightened up the low end and gave the amp a nice headroom increase. I still use the stock speaker and OT. Love love love this amp.

I finally got a WGS, but I went with the ET65 since currently my main stage amp is my Deluxe Reverb normal-channel clone I built from scratch. I put it in a tubes-up combo that I built and WOW!!! This amp REALLY sounds good with this speaker. Before I was playing it through a Vintage 30 (I know, totally not the right speaker for that amp) and I thought it sounded great. But now, this thing is amazing with the WGS!

It also sounds REALLY good with my Trinity TC15 kit amp (Matchless DC30 clone). I like it better then the Vintage 30 as well.

Next, I'm going to build a combo cabinet for my 18 watter and get either a WGS Veteran or Retro to drop in there.
