Layout question
« on: March 09, 2015, 11:38:39 am »
I have my layout on my chassis for my 30 watt combo and had a question. The tubes will mount on the bottom side of the chassis as this is a rear/top mount chassis in a 2x12 combo. I have about 5 inches of clearance between tube sockets and my circuit board. One photo shows the layout of all the components on my chassis and the other has my reverb circuit setting on top of the chassis. Where should I put this from left to right in the chassis so I wont get any interference. The reverb circuit board has all components including power components. Not picture on the layout is a very small 18v/18v XFMR that I will place just below the PT.

Obviously I will have to extend wires on reverb circuit.

I think you must before look to the better disposition of the transformers and choke

I dont think that choke is going to give me any problems over there. Marshalls laid out theire chassis like this for a long time. This is the second one of these I have built like this. The only difference is, this one has reverb and the other didnt.
