starting a new build
« on: October 17, 2015, 06:44:19 pm »
Hi all,
I have a Hammond 290ax PT and a replacement Marshall JTM 30 OT. I also have a 5h choke. Id like to check and see if the PT is substantial enough for my idea. I believe that the PT I have is used in some fender delux 5e3 models. And that's basically the setup I want. I'd like to have a single input. Traveling to one half of a triode. From there I'd like to use the remaining half of that triode AND the remaining half of the cathodyne PI in parallel. From there hit the PI. I'm not sure that 30 watt OT I have would be suitable so I'm ok with purchasing a new one.
