Several times I have read that there is nothing regarding tube designs.  micro diamonds
I came across the use of micro-diamonds as sources thermionic source of electrons.  Korg and Noritake provided info on the Nutube.  I believe this is new technology and is probably covered in application by patents. 

I do not believe we will this technology in common tubes, but its like finding a new planetoid.

I hope this creates some discussion.
