Shuguang 274B rectifier anyone?

Wondered if anyone has tried a Shuguang 274B in a guitar amp in place of a 5U4 or 5AR4?  It is quite large with a width of 2.5 inches. Might not fit in a lot of amps. The audio guys have good things to say about the tube, and the price isn't too bad. They have some pretty tall plates.

I haven't used the specific ST 5U4Gs but I have used heaps of Sovtek 5U4Gs (which the STs are copies of). They are excellent rectifiers.

Cool ! I notice these big tubes only pull about 2.5 amps filament current.
