My name is Christophe. I am both an apprentice guitarist and a serial DIYer, with a bias towards metalworking and mechanics.

With much help from the projet G5 forum, I built some sort of AC4 inspired amp for practicing use. I find it so rewarding that I now envision building something "à la" Tweed BluezMeister with 6V6, which would be more usefull for playing in public, while still usable at home - in constrast with a 5E3, does it seem.

This place is probably more 'home' to me than ampgarage, I started my amp fun here, in like 2015 I think, building a Hoffman Vox AC30.  Been addicted ever since, I just was pointed to ampgarage and decided to 'save' it :) . Saw tons of great content sitting there languishing needing someone to help and I stepped in. I still regularly point people over there back here as well :D
