I had under hands only a Mesa amplifier and at the time didn't look to the particoular

I would like to see which kind of ferrite bead Mesa Boogie uses at the input

if someone has a photo or a link to share I'd highly appreciate it

Thanks

This will be a research project. I was surprised at the surface mount versions of ferrite beads.... You will have to do some research on frequency response and select accordingly.
Maybe some one could point in the right freq. I suspect in the current application if the bead is in series, a resistor to ground will be indicated.

As it is a research project, I was only pointing to a start page for specification data. Yes, I'm sure Mesa used the style you posted. Mouser, and other suppliers post a link to a data sheet, which you will need to review.
If you reset the parameters of the catalog search page, in the ferrite bead, you will end up with the style you are interested in. Lead vs. SMD. Seems to me you need to determine ohms of inductive reactance at the desired rejection frequency. for that purpose, style won't matter.
