reverb into sound card

Shalom to everyone. I built a clone of a 6G15 and it works perfecly with a guitar and amp. how would I connect it so I can connect anything else(microphone, other instrument, etc.) to its input and then connect its output to a sound card and then the sound card to the computer. As is there are serious impedance mismatches. Thank you.

I think this would work?  Hopefully, someone else who is more knowledgeable will chime in.

Plug the guitar into the 6G15. From the output of the 6G15,  I would then plug into an audio interface.  From the audio interface plug into your computer which would have the sound card.

(So, I would be thinking about this like plugging my guitar into a tube screamer then into the audio interface then into my computer. )

The presonus route is how I record. Although mine is a Focusrite the method is tried and true and the way most people do it I believe.

It looks like you are using an Audient id44? If so, and you want to record the reverb as you record your track, then just put it in the inserts of one of the first two channels of the id44.

It should work just fine that way.

If you wanted to do proper impedance matching, then you may want to look at a "reamp box" and put it between the "insert send" and the input of the reverb unit. A reamp box takes a line-level load and converts it to a guitar-level load. I use the ART RDB for this... great bang-for-the-buck.

That Audient id44 is an awesome interface... it's likely going to be my next major purchase.
