Relay switch routing question.

Question, just want to get another set of eyes on this. So, I'm trying to switch the outputs of three signal chains. Basically it's three channels of a tube preamp. Relays one and two would be tied together and Switched at the same time by one switch. The other relay number three would be switched with its own switch. The layout seems sound to me. In the default state of the relays, relay 1 would send the signal to the clean Channel and relay 2
Would  shunt preamp 1 and 2 to ground. When relay 1 and 2 are switched it would shunt the clean channel to ground and send preamp 1 and 2 into relay 3. When relay 3 was switched it would switch between preamp 1 and 2.
 By shunting the signals to ground would this keep away any bleed I might have?

I tried a 3ch on my breadboard, figured out before I got far enough for switching I didn't like 2 channels so built a 1 channel  :icon_biggrin:

the only way to know is experimenting, good luck

It seems a bit over-complicated. You should be able to use just two DPDT relays for this.

You don’t have to switch the signal going into the channels, just switch the output. Then add muting of unused channels if necessary.

One side of relay 1 can switch between ch1/2, the other side mutes the unused channel (1 or 2).

The other relay selects ch 3 or ch 1/2. Other side of this relay mutes ch1/2 when not used (clean channel probably don’t need muting).

Also, it would help if you can post a schematic or att least a conceptual sketch of the topology. It’s difficult to understand your layout.
