Hi all,

My name is Josh, I’m from Northern Utah. It’s been my aspiration to build an amp for years now. I’ve wired up guitars and a couple scratch pedal builds, but a tube amp is the big leagues! I have no formal electronics training, but I’ve been doing my best to learn amongst the many other obligations that life brings.

My wife and I have been married almost 5 years and are about to welcome our first child in the coming months. We are very excited!

I received a degree in art with an emphasis in drawing and painting. For the past 5+ years I’ve been working as a 3d rendering artist, doing a lot of architectural visualization work for a small company. I have hopes to use my CAD experience in the CNC realm to build guitars.

In addition to guitar, music, and art (and generally building/creating things), I really enjoy hiking and the outdoors. I’m lucky to live in a beautiful area with lots of places to explore.
