I saw there was a thread about fender super twin already - but didnt feel right to post my question here.
( Must be rare to see two posts about these at same time. )
I managed to buy a fully functional fender super twin ( non Reverb ) that had been serviced by the store for a extremely good price at under 500euro.
It came fully retubed and recapped, so silent even at high volume.
Here comes the questions
I dont have any use for a big combo with 180w like this, so i want to turn it into a head - probably modyfying it to a Sunn Model T/5f6a but keeping the active inductor eq.
But i cant find transformer specification anywhere on the internet, voltages are there in schematic but not any of the mA which iam curious about since i may want to try a CLC ( capacitator - choke - capacitator ) for it.
So if any oldschool techs have some old datasheets/manuals id appreciate it.
Also any thoughts of turning it into a model t? Or would there be better options? Distortion circuit is horrible so that will have to be gone, but also many good thing about the amp.
Will also have to study the x6 6l6gc balance circuit to see if it could be erased with good results, or otherwise.
But yeah power transformer filament ampere, main mA? Output transformer CT ohm?
