I’ve been browsing this forum for years. I built my first amp using a Hoffman board and parts back in 2003. I recently decided to overhaul that amp, a 5F6-A Bassman with 6V6 power tubes and searched this forum for tips to help troubleshoot and tweak it. It was a great help. The overhaul sounds awesome.

I’m a retired engineer and love to tinker and build things. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 7 years old. I also love to do my own setups on my guitars and have built a few pedals too. It is a lot of fun.
