Getting a white screen when trying to post new tread

Hey guys,
I'm trying to post a new thread. It also has links in the text section and I'm trying to load a png image that's 1398kb that was saved to png from DIYLC .
When I hit the preview, I only see the text part, it's not showing the png image. I decided to try to post the thread to see if the png image would show up then but I get a white screen when hitting the post icon. I've never had this issue before

Well you managed to post this new thread just fine.

Attachments do not show in preview mode. Always been that way.

I just tried to do it again. pulled the forum page up from scratch and same result.
when I hit post, it changes to a white screen that won't go away. There's no circle just spinning or anything like that, that shows it's trying to load the page. The page loads solid white.
Could any of the links in my post be causing the issue?

Could be. Some web pages do not allow linking from another website, especially pictures.

Tried it again, said I already posted it, it hasn't been posted.
Pulled every link out. I was using firefox and switched to google chrome, tried it twice.
1 message said there was a http 500 error and the 2nd time I tried it said I already posted it

Then try to go back and modify it with a link or an image
