Hey there,

finally decided to sign up after lurking some. Seems like a nice place to hang out for a guy like me!

I have been playing guitar for quite a while and always had a dream of "building my gear". Started a couple of years ago with guitars, which quickly became my main instruments. I also did some pedal building, and I managed to "first-try" a Slo 30 kit from Rosamp last fall, including the headshell, tolex etx. It was all a bit of painting by numbers as I have close to no training in electronics, being a biomedical professional... I am catching up though!












Next up is adapting a known schematic and taking it to the working amp stage. A very nice someone sent me the schematic of my former favorite amp that I sold because it was too big and missing a clean channel... maybe it's time to mess with it, with a bit of advice while meeting like minded people ;)
