« on: May 04, 2026, 11:51:31 pm »
I just got back into tube amps after years of modeling so i haven't been posting at places like this and ampage. But i see ampage seems to be gone. Is it r is there just a new address, and if it IS gone, any of the members form ampage here?

I'm an old ampager.
It morphed in to the Music Electronics Forum MEF but over recent years the site owners has been dealing with health issues, resulting in the site going down periodically, then eventually last year, staying down.
A member started MEF2, but it doesn't have access to the old database, yet, and lots of members have fallen by the wayside. Steve Ahola died maybe 8 years ago, and his very useful Blue Guitar website resource eventually shut down.
Enzo died about 4 years ago.
Steve Conner moved on to other interests (look for his Van Der Graaf experiments on YouTube).
Many other old ampagers are scattered over other forums, eg RG Keen is active on The Amp Garage, JM Fahey sometimes pops up on The Gear Page and Solid State Guitar.

Hope that helps  :icon_biggrin:

There's been some activity at MEF recently. The Sunn forum is back up there and I was able to post. The rest of the MEF forum is showing signs of life too. Tboy joined the MEF2 also, so it seems he is fixing things and is back to health, or at least enough back to be able to work on things.
