resistors in parallel ?

I'm out of 820 ohm resistors , ( Tweed Deluxe ). Would there be an undesirable effect on tone , ( voltage drop etc. ) if I paralleled two 1.5K resistors on the V1 cathode , or anywhere else in the circuit for that matter ?
