parallel - cascade switching?
« on: September 12, 2010, 06:34:04 am »
Can someone tell me if I have drawn this parallel cascade switching correctly? This schematic is based on the work of a  guy ChrisM on AmpGarage who shared his schematic but I am not sure whether I've drawn the parallel cascade switch right.

I attached a SCH version that can be edited & reposted if I have not drawn it properly.

Thanks, Tubenit

You mean parallel/cascade? Your circuit looks workable to me.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

cascAde.

Your second stage is sure to overload in cascade; I guess that's the idea.

Here's another variant. Will it work? who knows? It may need 1M + dampening resistors across each side of the 2-pole plate switch. Or it may just be a heck of a lot noisier. Or both. 2CW
