100watt OT used for 50 watt build?

Is it possible to use a a 100 watt transformer for a 50 watt build?
If so what are the knock on effects? If I am running 2 el34 instead of 4 does that end up doubling my impedance output jacks to 8 16 32 instead of the stock 4 8 16,
Something tells me I could be ever so slightly wishfully oversimplifying things there!

I have done that before with no problems. Don`t look for transformer saturation. Yes, your output impedance will change from 4/8/16 to 8/16/32.  Punky

you would think with no transformer saturation. it would be good for the high gain thing, giving just a smidge more clean head room but. I dont know much and am just guessing.
