Passion video
« on: November 28, 2011, 06:57:46 pm »
Ok, here's another vid

No beer was involved this time.  :icon_biggrin:

Still, I can't relax and play as loose as when there is no camera or recording going on.
I did did two takes.
Take two was better, but I screwed up a couple times

This is take 1
Oh well, good thing I don't make a living doing this sort of thing.

Fantastic!  VERY nice phrasing in your playing.  You looked comfortable playing the tune and it looks like you're really getting into about midway.

That neck/guitar setup must be pretty well done. Doesn't look like you're having to dig in much to play the notes. Looks like the strings fret pretty easily?

Don't know if your tone was dialed differently or it's the headphones I used (this time) to listen but the tone was great. Really sounded huge/majestic. I like the tone on this vid even better than the first one.

I think sometimes playing with emotion and restraining from trying or wanting to play fast riffs is really harder to do technically and you pulled it off really well.
The phrasing has to be more mature playing emotion more slowly, IMO.

Nice tune. Fabulous tone.  I enjoyed that. Kind of fun seeing videos instead of just soundclips. I like it.

Thanks for sharing it.

With respect, Jeff

The neck - body joint is really thought out well.
Look at the heal plate in my picture, it's at an angle

It makes it so easy to play up high
BTW, the strings are 11's I use (but with a 48 Big E string)

And thanks again for the kind comments

I still am really stiff compared to how I play when I am not working cameras and recording equipment

I have some more videos to do
I am on a roll
