Mitsubishi speakers?

Does anyone know where I could find info about vintage Mitsubishi speakers? I have an old Japanese amp that has one....I think. The only identifying marks are the thee diamond logo and MK-5A. It looks to have an alnico plug magnet in it....but I'm not sure. I'm willing to bet the speaker is a replacement as the OT is missing.

you might try sending an email to Weber and a few of the speaker recone shops that you can find on the inet. you will probably find someone who knows about them.....i don't have a clue myself.

Hey, y'all, thanks for the replies! Drgonzom, this whole thing is a longshot, but I've developed a love of quirky old stuff lately!

I've searched the net for both the amp and the speakers. All of the Mitsubishi info I've found is for Hi-Fi speakers. Apparently, they are quite good in that application. But that raises a concern: I've always heard that geetar and Hi-Fi speakers are completely different animals, and not really interchangeable, so how do you know what a speaker is made for?

As far as the amp, I've found very little about Tempo. I know its a "cheap" Japanese amp from the 60's-70's. I haven't gotten into restoring it yet, but the parts look good enough to work with, at least for a bedroom or jam w/o a drummer amp. plus, the schematic was actually still glued to the cabinet!
