6v6 Plexi Input Jack Wiring
« on: August 17, 2015, 06:10:41 am »
Question on the Hoffman 6v6 Plexi input Jack wiring. On the build page pictures it looks like the 1m resistor is wired from tip to ground, but in the schematic it is wired tip to shunt. Does it matter?  Want to make sure I get it right the first time.

Thanks

As it is a single input the 1M resistor lead is connected to both the shunt and ground lug and the other end is connected to the tip. What this does is the shunt grounds the input when the guitar jack is not plugged in and when it is the 1m pulldown then comes into play. This amp is on my list TOODO.
