'65 Fender Deluxe Reissue white noise
« on: January 28, 2016, 06:34:11 am »
Hi,
All of a sudden, my deluxe is making white noise.  I turn it on and play, and after a while, white noise fades in.  It hits a level that is quite loud and is usually coupled with some crackling and popping.  The amp is not played a lot and covered in non-use.  I'm guessing it's a tube.  Any advise?
Thanks,
Doug

Tubes are first suspect. Pull V1 and V2. Noise gone?
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!
