Someone can explain this method ?

I'm not able to follow the logic of the tremolo in this schematic

Does the tremolo signal arrives to the junction of R10 - R11 ?

Thanks

Franco

yes. R11 is a shared cathode resistor for the trem oscillator and the 6V6. The varying trem signal voltage will be felt on the cathode of the 6V6 and will vary the bias of the 6V6.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Disagree?

12AX7 won't suck enough to bother a 6V6. Especially through a 33 Ohm resistor. Meanwhile there is another half 12AX7 doing what?

IMHO: that second half 12AX7 sucks against a 100K resistor in the feed to the input stage plate. At peak current it could pull-down enough to really lame the input stage; at zero current the input stage works great. Tremolo.

The 33r tap in 6V6 cathode may be a DC bias for the trem LFO (saves a big cap).

Ah yes. I see that now.

Thanks

Errr .....

Do you mean that the drop of voltage on R20 (due to oscillation) tame the voltage that feeds R5 and so the plate of V1a

giving a gain reduction that became tremolo ?

the stove was similar to this

on the oven and on the door was placed a white dog

as told the fire was off and the stove only lukewarm

BTW seemed that he was also happy to be there, but to me to see that old dog on the oven was a pain

Franco

A couple years after you posted this, I had the situation below. Something spilled in the oven, it was doggie dinner time, and it was easier to let the dogs clean it than to hunch-over and sweep/scrape.

Don't worry if I invite you for dinner: the oven also has a red-hot "Self clean" which kills anything. But we have to pre-clean or it stinks. The dogs like the work.

Sad: we lost the short dog last year and IIRC you lost a dog recently. Thinking of you.

Love that pic. One of our dogs used to climb right into the dishwasher to lick the rinsed plates. Until she got her collar caught on a rack and the whole damn thing came crashing out on the floor and followed her as she tried to run away. She never trusted that evil machine again.
Its heartbreaking to lose a dog - sorry to both of you. We lost one of ours to Multiple Myeloma 16 months ago, and I still grieve every day. He was half coon hound and half black lab. He had the greatest bark ever, but was sweet as honey.
