 6BG6-G
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I bought some NOS tubes and among them I found about 10 of these 6BG6-G.

What amazes me is that they seem to be able to push out 60W A/B with 600V and an amazing low distorsion....
Anyone who have tried these tubes???

Most of those are similar to 6L6 (not 6L6GC which has higher ratings). An exception is certain later 6BG6 tubes made by Phillips that seem to have 6L6GC guts in them. They have been used in Hi-Fi amps, have not seen them in guitar amps. Also check out 807 and 1625 tubes.

Thanks for fast reply, But if not in guitaramps then WHY??
And CAN I use them for a 30W Hoffman tranformer I got. Iwould like to have to sound MORE like an AC30.. but don't wanna use 4 EL84 and run them too hot....
2 or 4 6BG6s that is the question? Abd where can I read how to read a tube diagram ?????

A pair will get you 30 Watts. Not used for Guitar amps because of the high voltage on the top plate connection. Have you checked the link above:
"Please read this to learn about tube amps"
