JS Bach? Yeah, he did a lot of arpeggios, but was not the first.

Playing arpeggios and sweep picking should get a pass. Nah, still Gambale and Corea. Anything Bach and Blackmore did gets a pass. That was before I heard shredding.


It is called woodshedding which means 2 things. One is practice guitar and be a tree hugger while doing it. The other requires cutting your own switch. Which came first?

20th century greensleeves live rainbow with Cozy on drums and man on silver mountain is my favorite Blackmore. Seems to have matured and was happy for once.
