Ignore Norton and download anyway.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Hi Brian,
The DIY just had an issue when it came to creating a BOM using Excel. Nothing huge just a time saver but also a way to verify that the components are all designated and named properly too. It helps me to cross reference and double check things.

Regarding what? I use that program more for when I'm creating my pedals rather than my amps. I've already explained a few of them to you regarding the Steel String Special and Blackmore Aiwa Preamp as a couple of them.

For amp stuff I've been using Jschem/Express sch or whatever it's called? I even have a number of layouts using that program which I find is terrific because you can save things as a complete group very easily. And then for a new idea or amp, pull up the same power section then delete the preamp section or vice versa. It's how tubenit and others are so fast at making schematic changes. The major fault of that program is that it doesn't have an "undo" control. If you screw something up, you can't undo it. This is a MAJOR frustration using that program. But for free you can't complain.

there is an "undo", 3rd icon from left on top row, but it only works once, you can't keep undoing.  for that ya gotta select pointer, click " item of interest" (should turn blue from black) then hit delete.  extra keystrokes are free  :icon_biggrin:
