How not to release an album
« on: January 13, 2021, 06:29:58 am »
Hey everybody,

I haven't even lurked in a while, wow! Been getting an amp-building jones, so I thought I'd pop to get some inspiration/wisedom. So yeah, I recorded my 4th album "Park Boulevard Park" about a year ago, and released it just as the pandemic hit - ooph! An actual vinyl 12" album... Oh well...

The amp on the album is my latest one - a Hammond AO35 built into a cute little head - nearly a straight-up Hoffman Stout with a Vox style cut knob and a ppimv. I love it! My next amp project is rebuilding my old Precision Electronics 30PA, which I'd like to turn into a sort of "Imperial Stout" with cathode biased EL34s - expect dumb questions in the near future, lol.

Anyway, here's the album link: https://soundcloud.com/scott-gorsuch
Guitar-wise, my favorite track is "Temple Of Vanity", which is a bit proggy.
Take care everyone. Stay safe and sane (or insane). ~Scott
