G'day,

Here's another retired techy looking at catching up on years gone by where I haven't been inside a tube amp.
I think the last time I was fixing one was around 1995 or so, before then, I've made hi-fi, guitar and bass tube amps starting around 1968 for myself and to sell. My purpose for signing up to this forum is so I can pick some brains.

Other than that, I've run my own business, been a service agent for Fender, Marshall, Roland etc. so I've had a good bit of exposure and experience ad repairing and modding amps.

Might as well mention I've also made some MOSFET power amps during my early days, they were quite impressive!!

Now that I have time on my hands. I've picked up my guitar again. I have an original black face Vibroverb with Altec Lansing 15" speaker that I'll be overhauling some time soon and also a Blues Junior (yellow board 2001 stamped on it) and this is my current project.
