A process, packaging and robotic control systems electrical engineer of 35 years and a gigging musician (off and on) for longer than that...I finally went nuts, woke up and said to my wife, "I'm going to the antique store to buy an old tube radio and make a tube amp out of it." I've designed and built a lot of crazy stuff but I never got addicted to anything until I built my first tube amp and heard its sweet sound when it came alive. It was a FPR AA1164 small parts kit put into a 1950 Zenith TransOceanic radio case on my own custom chassis. I've not been the same since. Lots of solder smoke since that day renditioning home brew designs and so much more to explore...
