The (supposedly) 100r resistors on the back of the pilot light read 50ohms each
That's what they should read when in circuit because they are basically in parallel.

Don't know about the buzz. I couldn't really hear it. Hot PT when idling may be a concern and could also be related to your buzz.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Hehe sorry. Fail video.

That is basically EXACTLY what I am hearing to the perfect pitch. :)
It sounds like a pair of hair clippers hehe.

I'll hardwire it then see what he suggests later in that video I guess.

Yeah so I popped the bolts on my PT and its basically the same scenario.

So I ordered some high temperature enamel paint and some clamps ..

Wish me luck! :icon_biggrin:

High temperature paint on order..  :icon_biggrin:

I remembered that I forgot the power tube grid resistors .. which I was going to change to 220k.

Looking at what I have already..

I'm confused. Why do I have an "extra" resistor here? It measures 90k.

Tracing the wires to the power tube sockets.. it looks like I have 175k of resistance on one side and only 85k on the other thanks to this extra resistor?

It's not an extra resistor. It's supposed to be there. Look at the schematic.
