identify cap

Gong thru my spare caps the value of this cap is correct. But i cannot tell if it is a Coupling cap or a Bypass cap. Is there an easy way to tell ?  Also what orientation would i install it? I need a coupling cap of this value.

That's a 0.1µF @ 630v non-polarized cap. It can be installed either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Whether you call it a coupling cap or a bypass cap depends on where it is placed in the circuit.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

If you had googled "104K, 630v cap value" or the like, you would have gotten the results, Google is your friend. But Sluckey is the "Master of the Answer"  :icon_biggrin:
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
