There are a few of those youtube tube amp "Gurus". I have watched some of the videos. Some are decent, but I have seen some of those guys make some assertions that are just not true. This needs to be replaced, that needs to be replaced. The engineers at "Amp manufacturer" didn't design this circuit correctly, it would sound much better if you replace X with Y. Stuff like that. My favorite though, there is one video where the "guru" goes through an amp that wasn't working correctly and spends over an hour talking about what was wrong with the amp and "fixes" it. A few months later, the same amp winds up on my bench and actually gets fixed. The funny part was, the point of failure was so obvious that it took me less than a minute to diagnose and maybe three minutes to repair. Oh, and I don't fancy myself a "Guru".
