the DROUGHT is finally ending, got a small leaker on the back wall, got the 25gal water tank in room, still need to plumb it up.  since it's so close to freezing temps soon, i'll probably wait til spring to "test n use" 


corn husked n final drying, lots of bad kernels, gonna be a pin to separate!!!
so far the mice don't know about the room, but the barn cats are loving the residual heat from the stove

it's now cold enough to fire up the house wood-stove so I've moved cooking inside.  If you seen the thread on "some days" where the tree came down....i had a section boarded out by the neighbor, my planner is still down so I went with just a hand sand and destressed finish.  the sun was no helping for the pic though


did my 1st bake inside the woodstove, was doing good, then.....I reached the ignition point of butter n corn meal 
nobody likes the crust anyway. perfectly baked, well, 'sept the edges
