Hilbish GT120 Matamp Clone (layout question)
« on: December 20, 2025, 01:56:16 pm »
The layout appears to use unshielded wire for the inputs.

It looks like the original Matamp layout has additional chassis shielding in this area.  I'm using Cliff jacks and my chassis is powder coated, should I be using shielded wire here?

Would it be better for me to solder the grid stoppers directly to the tube socket, and run a shielded cable to the input?  Ground at the socket?
