Hello,

This is my first time posting here and I just created the Account to ask you guys this.
I was wondering if I could include the reverb also on the "Standard" or Geezers Version of the Amp and does it matter if I put it in front or after the FX Loop?

Sure, you can put reverb on Geezer's standard. Are you planning to use a "one tube reverb"?

I am assuming you will use a passive FX loop correct?   IF that is the case, I would recommend having reverb after the FX loop.  Having said that, it's simply a personal preference which of those you want first.

with respect, Tubenit

Yeah,

I am looking for a one Tube Reverb and I want it to be a passive FX Loop.
I just love the Sound of this amp and I have got a Fender Reverb Tank in the dead Combo I am planing to use for this Build.
I thought it would be a shame not to use it.

Thanks a lot for the Schematic.

And do you have any recomendation for the Speakers i should use for that smooth Blues Sound in the Soundclips?
I was thinking about the Jensen C12K Ceramic Vintage or the Eminence Swamp Thang.

Which dead combo? Not all tanks are the same.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

It is an old fender Frontman 212R and I just read the post about the reverb and I will check it before I start building. I will check all of the parts and maybe reuse some of them.

That frontman tank won't work in the one tube reverb circuit, or any of the Fender tube type reverb circuits.

Have you guys ever done a build using a footswitch for the overdrive or anything else on this amp?

My Tweed BluezMeister has 3 footswitched relays.   Clean to overdrive.   PAB (preamp boost) &  Midboost.

So, the answer is yes.   And there is tons of information in ARCHIVES on relay switching.
