like it!
I quit listening to music when the '80s came along, then re-engaged for the '90s, as a listener, I didn't miss a thing  :icon_biggrin:

Wait...  What if I think arpeggios started back in about 1970 thanks to you-know-who.  Can I still shred?

I'm confused!

JS Bach? Yeah, he did a lot of arpeggios, but was not the first.

Was Brandenburg Concerto before Ritchie? I don't think so! :icon_biggrin:

Playing arpeggios and sweep picking should get a pass. Nah, still Gambale and Corea. Anything Bach and Blackmore did gets a pass. That was before I heard shredding.

It is called woodshedding which means 2 things. One is practice guitar and be a tree hugger while doing it. The other requires cutting your own switch. Which came first?

The rooster!

20th century greensleeves live rainbow with Cozy on drums and man on silver mountain is my favorite Blackmore. Seems to have matured and was happy for once.
