When I grow up, I hope to play 1/100th as good a Jack Pearson!

He is an amazing player isn't he?   I've watched a few of his videos over the years.  Thanks for sharing it!

Best regards,  Jeff

Yeah, I found that out only last year after seeing some videos & looking into his background.

I feel like I missed out in the late-90's...  I lived in Nashville and recall seeing handbills for club gigs he was playing around town.  I gather that would have been a little after his stint with the Allmans.  It was just a name to me at the time; I had no idea what I was missing.

Could the magic be in the guitar? :think1:

PS, After all, the tone is in the fingers! :argue:

Could the magic be in the guitar? :think1: ...

Yep, the magic is in the Squier he plays.  :icon_biggrin:  (dunno if you watched closely enough to notice that)

It's what's in his heart, it's who he's singing about.  :icon_biggrin:

Playing doesn't get much smoother and freer, if at all, than that.

May be a Squire, but not is only axe.  Here are 2 of the greatest unknown guitarists, but of which have made a lot of others famous, except themselves.  Here is Jack playing some old crappy guitar and the other dude is playing a guitar painted with automotive gray primer and I thought you had to have nitro to sound good.  And I almost forgot, that string sliding Jack does I have been trying now for a long time.  I beginning to think maybe it is just his or maybe you just have to be born in Nashville to do it.  It is so smooth and sort of reckless at the same time.  Great!
