So i'll take a guess at the answer.
Probably the bias should be the same, since i think it is more of a function of the transformer and tubes than the circuit.
That's how i'll start anyway.
And i was wrong about one thing, i have a TO20B not TO20 which, according to billm (well, not bill, actually, sadly) back when i did the mod was slightly different.
The setting i was using is 3.35v (or so) for the primary voltage drop, and so that's what i'll go with here now, unless somebody has some guidance otherwise.
As to the point about forum/thread/continuity....
In my experience as a forum user (software architect, 30+ year career, lots and lots of forum interactions) I've always found it better to keep a thread focused on a single question or topic, and by and large that is the preferred etiquette in the forums that i've participated in. While "blues junior conversion" certainly is a topic, i've tried to make a small number of threads that each is focused on some specific question that has come up as i've gone along. (Mostly. I think i bundled a few questions in a single post early on.)
I will, with any luck, have one final post in this saga, which will be a recap of the project. What went good, bad, lessons learned, a suggestion or two for the project link maybe, and so on... That would, to my thinking, belong in its own thread, along with the discussion that it generates.
One other thing that will be in that summary post, but deserves to be said here as well, is to say a huge thank you to the members of this forum who have responded to my various questions, especially sluckey, for the timely responses to the questions i've asked. Would have been stuck at the starting line without the help.
