Unknown Output Transformer windings.

Okay so when my dad passed away he left me a whole bunch of Amp stuff. Found this output Transformer and with some of that stuff. Just trying to figure out what's what as far as the wiring goes. It's labeled that has a 4 ohm and an 8mm tap. I'm just trying to figure out the rest and if it has a 16 on tap as well. I'm including pictures.  The yellow and green wires are the 4 and 8 ohm taps. There is also a black wire, red wire, orange wire, blue wire. Any guidance or information would be super helpful thanks guys.

Use your ohm meter to separate the wires into groups. I suspect the green, yellow, and black all have very low resistance to each other and no other wires. Call this group the secondary winding. The black should be the common. Looks like there are only two taps.

I also suspect the red, blue, and orange (really brown) also have continuity to each other but at a higher resistance value. The resistance between red and blue should approx equal the resistance between red and brown and the resistance between blue and brown should be approx twice the resistance of the other readings. Call this group the primary. The red is the center tap if your resistance checks are as described.

Beyond that, what equipment do you have available that you can use? eg sig gen, scope.

Between the red and blue wires it was 250 ohms Between the Bread and the orange wire or brown wire read 250 ohms and the brown and blue are together Redken like 480 ohms. So I'm guessing that the yellow is they don't tap the green is the Forum tap a black is the red is the the center tap and the blue and brown wires are the primaries does this sound right?

If you have a PT with a 5Vac or 6vacwinding, hook that up to the OT secondaries and see what VAC you measure on the OT primary
