So I bring the K10 and the other two amps to the pawnshop guy to see if he can sell them,
and I bring along the Plexi just to show him what I'm working on now.

So we crank the Plexi up to like 9+ on all the volume knobs,
and I even get a little screwdriver and minimize the NFB.
You know what he ask's me?
Is that as dirty as she can get?   :w2:
The little one will get dirtier than that, he says.   :l2:

So what you are telling me,
is for the mud bog dirt slinger guitarists here,
Lowering my voltage again to 275 or maybe even 250
Might actually help the Plexi get as dirty as they want to be here.   :w2:

Who knows if the pawnshop guy is the right buyer for a plexi-style amp.

A real Marshall plexi only gets so dirty... There have been many amps since the late-60's/early-70's to be more distorted than the model your amp is based upon.

You know the saying.

"The customer is always right".   :icon_biggrin:

If he can sell a few amps for me, it would help replenish my parts capital.

Right now, I'm keeping the 1st Plexi for me.

It's got just the right amount of dirt IMO.  :icon_biggrin:
